Scrape Abrasion Test

The equipment is designed to meet the requirements of ISO 6722/ISO 19642-2.
A one-meter sample is prepared and placed under a force. Needle then abrades in longitudinal direction of the cable for a length of 15.5 +/- 1 mm. Four measurements are made. A measurement consists of abrading until the needle gets in contact with the conductor. After each measurement, the test sample is moved 100 mm and rotated clockwise. The number of cycles are measured and reflected on the counter meter of the equipment.
